The Best Western Revere Inn & Suites is centrally located in the heart of Lancaster's Pennsylvania Dutch and Amish country, where horse and buggies are still used as transportation by the area's Amish. Built in 1740, The Historic Revere Tavern, our restaurant, was formally owned by President James Buchanan and served as a retreat where Stephen Foster penned some of his immortal songs. In winter months, 7 working stone fireplaces enable guests to enjoy dinner in the romantic glow of history. Rooms in the newly constructed (1999) main building are tastefully appointed, spacious and feature 9' ceilings. Standard rooms have 2-queen bed and a recliner, while the king and single queen rooms offer a sofa setting area. Oversized family rooms and 4 suites with whirlpool baths and fireplaces are also available. Rooms in our Annex building have 2 double beds. The Annex building features exterior corridors and is adjacent to the outdoor pool. FROM ALLENTOWN: Take Route 222 South to Route 30 East. The hotel is on the right side about 5 miles ahead. (1.5 hours)

FROM ALTOONA: Take Route 99 South to the PA Turnpike (I-76 East). Take PA Turnpike to exit 19. Then take Route 283 East to Route 30 East. Hotel will be about 7 miles ahead on the right.

FROM BALTIMORE: Take I-83 North to Route 30 East. The hotel is approx 30 miles ahead on the right. (1.5 hours)

FROM BOSTON: Take Route 66 West to I-84 West to Route 689 South to Route 287. Take Route 287 across Tappannzee Bridge to Route 78. Follow Route 78 West to Route 222 South. Take 222 South to Route 30 East. Hotel is on 30 East Approx 5 miles on the right.

FROM DELAWARE: Take Route 13 North to Route 141 North. Then Route 41 North to Route 30 West in Gap. Hotel is about 13 miles on the Left. (2.5 hours)

FROM HARRISBURG: Take Route 283 East to Route 30 East. The Hotel is approx 40 miles ahead on the right. (45 min-1 hour)

FROM JOHNSTOWN: Take Route 219 South to Route 281 South to the PA Turnpike (I-76) to exit 247. Take Route 283 East to Route 30 East. The hotel is on 30 East about 7 miles on the right (3.5 hours)

FROM MEDIA: Take Route 1 South to Route 41 North to Route 30 West (in Gap). Hotel is about 13 miles ahead on the left.

FROM PHILADELPHIA: Take the PA Turnpike West (I-76 West) to exit 286. Then get on Route 222 South about 20 minutes to Route 30 East. The hotel is about 5 miles ahead on the Right. (1.5 hours)

FROM RICHMOND, VA: Take 95 North to 695 North. Then Take 695 North to 83 North to Route 30 East.

FROM ROANOKE: Take 81 North to Route 30 East.

FROM PITTSBURGH: Take PA Turnpike East (I-76 East) to exit 247. Then get on Route 283 East to Route 30 East. The hotel is about 7 miles ahead on the right. (4.5-5 hours)

FROM SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY: Cross either bridge into Philadelphia. Follow signs to Route 76 (Schuykill Expressway) West to the PA Turnpike. Take PA Turnpike to exit 286. Then get on Route 222 South to Route 30. The hotel is about 7 miles ahead on the right.

FROM NORTHERN NEW JERSEY: Take Route 80 to Scranton. Follow directions from Scranton.

FROM NEW YORK CITY & CENTRAL NEW JERSEY: Take the New Jersey Turnpike South to exit 6. (Route 276-PA Turnpike West) Take PA Turnpike to exit 286. Then get on Route 222 South to Route 30 East. The hotel is about 7 miles ahead on the right.

FROM SCRANTON: Take Route 81 South to Route 72 South. Take 72 South to Route 283 East. From Route 283 East take Route 30 East. The hotel is 7 miles ahead on the right. (2.5 hours)

FROM STATE COLLEGE: Take Route 322 East to Route 81 North. Take Route 81 to Route 83 South to Route 283 East. Hotel is about 5 miles ahead on the right.

FROM WILLIAMSPORT: Take Route 15 South to Route 11 & 15 South. Take 11 & 15 to Route 322 East. Take Route 322 East to 81 North then to 83 South. Take 82 South to Route 283 East then to Route 30 East. Hotel is on the right about 5 miles ahead.
