Casimere Jollette

Casimere JolletteOur dancers are some of the most determined and passionate young performers out there. Today’s #WhereAreTheyNow dancer is no exception. Casimere Jollette took her love of dance and is using it to reach the stars!

Passion From The Start

Casimere was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1996. It didn’t take long for her passion for performing to spark. She started dancing at the age of 3 and modeling at the age of 7.  The love of performing ran in her family as her mother was a Chicago Bear’s Cheerleader. This definitely helped steer Casimere’s determination to succeed. She was home-schooled to allow her more time to train as a pre-professional ballerina. She competed in dance competitions until she was 17.

Casimere JolletteStarQuest loved watching her perform. She even won Junior Miss StarQuest at our 2006 Chicago event with the musical favorite “If My Friends Could See Me Now.” Her extensive ballet experience led her to land in the Top 12 for Contemporary Ballet at the Youth American Grand Prix every year from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, she took home the grand prize of 1stPlace in Contemporary Ballet. She was destined to succeed.

Moving On Up

Nothing could keep Casimere down. At the age of 14, an acting coach rented space at her dance studio and discovered Casimere’s talent. Because of her experience as a ballerina, she competed for the lead role in the ABC series, “Bunheads”. She did not land the lucrative role, and when she arrived home from the callbacks, she found out her back was fractured. She spent 6 months in a back brace. However, she did not let this setback keep her spirits down.

Casimere JolletteAfter she healed, she hit the payment even harder, auditioning for every commercial, tv show, and film role that came her way. She landed her first guest appearance on “Chicago P.D.” at the age of 18. In 2015, she landed the role of “Linz” in Hulu’s tv series, “Guidance”. In 2016, she appeared as “Morgan” in 6 episodes of “East Los High”. She landed her first commercial in 2017 as the “T-Mobile” bad babysitter, showing us her humorous side. Most recently, you can see her as “Skylar” in the popular series “Dirty John”.

Casimere also uses her knack for performance in front of the camera. She continues to model constantly. Her Instagram features a lot of these gorgeous photos and has amassed over 45,000 followers! Casimere is working hard to follow her dreams and show the world her passion that she has fostered since she was born.

Ballet Through And Through

Casimere JolletteWhile working hard on building an acting career, she made sure to keep studying ballet. She attended summer intensives for the American Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet, and Illinois Ballet Theatre. Still to this day, she studies ballet in Los Angeles. She even uses it in her modeling campaigns as well as acting roles. In 2019, she appeared as a ballet dancer in the hit show “This Is Us”. We love watching Casimere grow as a performer and can’t wait to see what else she has in store!
