StarQuest Dance Competition
The Experience is the Real Award.
During our #SQOklahomaCity event, one moment stood taller than any trophy and reminded us why we do what we do. Meet Bekham, a senior dancer from Applause Studios, whose journey back to the stage is nothing short of inspiring. After breaking her hip last year, Bekham faced a recovery that required patience, resilience, and a whole lot of heart. This season, she didn’t just return. She came back stronger, both mentally and physically, and was able to perform in every single dance this year. What makes Bekham’s story shine even brighter is who she is beyond the choreography. Her studio shared, “We love her so much. She’s amazing and so strong and genuinely kind. We love what she brings to class, school, and everything. She’s the best.” That kindness, determination, and strength radiate every time she steps on stage. Bekham’s comeback is a beautiful reminder that setbacks don’t define us. Courage does, and that’s why she is this week’s #SQMomentOfTheWeek !

Each week, the Viral Video of the Event winners will compete on line for the title of Viral Video of the Weekend, culminating in a season-wide vote for Viral Video of the Year. The grand prize winner receives a $400 StarQuest Gift Certificate for the 2027 season and a Dream Duffel Elite Backpack for every dancer in the routine.
