StarQuest Dance Competition
The Experience is the Real Award.
This week’s #SQMemoryOfTheWeek is all about new beginnings, big dreams, and the joy of performance! Studio R5 brought an incredible mix of song and dance to our stage during our 2025 #SQMetairie event, and we had the chance to chat with two of their many shining stars, Elinore and Violet. Not only were they both in their very first year of competition, but they also took the stage together in a beautiful duet!
Studio R5’s Roger teamed up with voice teacher Amy, who was inspired at a StarQuest event after seeing our vocal competition billboard while supporting her daughter. Together, they created something truly special, officially launching their brand-new musical theatre competition team.
Since then, this group has shared their talents at community events, building confidence and spreading joy through music and movement. And now, Studio R5’s musical theatre competition team has lit up the #SQStage stage two years in a row!
Congratulations to Studio R5, Elinore, Violet, Amy, and Roger for showing us the magic that happens when passion and collaboration come together. This is only the beginning, and we can’t wait to see where your journey takes you next, and that’s why you are the perfect #SQMemoryOfTheWeek !

Libby joined us for our preview events in Worcester, MA and Fredericksburg, VA, where she shared valuable insights on nutrition, performer wellness, and building sustainable habits to support long-term health in the performing arts.
Her work helps artists fuel their bodies, strengthen their relationship with food and hydration, and support both performance and overall well-being.
