This week’s SQMemoryOfTheWeek is all about new beginnings, big dreams, and the joy of performance! Studio R5 brought an incredible mix of song and dance to our stage during our #SQMetairie event, and we had the chance to chat with two of their many shining stars, Elinore and Violet. Not only were they both in their very first year of competition, but they also took the stage together in a beautiful duet! Studio R5’s Roger teamed up with voice teacher Amy, who was inspired at a StarQuest event last year after seeing our vocal competition billboard while supporting her daughter. Together, they created something truly special, officially launching their brand-new musical theatre competition team last fall. Since then, this group has shared their talents at community events, building confidence and spreading joy through music and movement. And now, they’re lighting up the #SQStage stage, competing and enjoying every minute of it! Congratulations to Studio R5, Elinore, Violet, Amy, and Roger for showing us the magic that happens when passion and collaboration come together.
