Some moments in dance stay with us forever, and for graduating senior Camilla of EDGE Studio, her weekend in #SQProvidence was one of them. As she stepped onto the stage for her very last competition, emotions ran high—nostalgia, excitement, and gratitude all wrapped into one unforgettable performance. Having danced since she was just three years old, Camilla has grown up in the competition world, surrounded by friends who feel like family and a community that has supported her every step of the way. This weekend, she created a new favorite memory—surprising herself with how she performed her solo, and feeling the love and encouragement of her best friends cheering her on. It was a full-circle moment, a reminder of how much she has grown, not just as a dancer but as a person. Over the years, she’s learned one of the most valuable lessons in dance: awards don’t define your talent or your passion. As she moves forward toward a future in the performing arts—whether on stage or behind the scenes—Camilla carries with her the experiences, lessons, and friendships that dance has given her. And while this chapter is closing, a new one is just beginning. To Camilla and all our graduating seniors, thank you. You inspire us with your talent, dedication, and love for dance.
